Testing, testing...tap, tap, tap...Is this thing on?

Hello there, poets and artists! This will be a central posting place to advertise events and what not. Those of you with a horror of html, never fear. You don't need it here. However, if that did nothing to assuage your fears, rest assured, that this is easy to use. When it's a little more ready, I'll send each of you an author invite to share in the posts.
